Remnants, 2025.
Acrylic and oil pastel on paper, 11×14 in.
Remnants presented woven fragments as abstracted interpretations of decaying textiles, recalling objects encountered in archaeological contexts. Frayed threads, worn surfaces, and eroded forms trace the passage of time and the ghost images of lives once lived. Existing between what is lost and what endures, these works consider textiles as both utilitarian objects and vessels of memory. Time unravels nearly everything—cloth, structure, memory. Yet what is left behind still carries presence.

If these remnants could speak, what would they say?
